Pakistan will have to face a final review by the IMF board before passing the budget, the exchange market in Pakistan should be given a chance to function freely, IMF representative in Pakistan, Ester Priess said.

According to the details, the representative of the IMF in Pakistan, Esther Preez, contacted the foreign news agency. Easter has said that Pakistan will face a final review by the IMF board before passing a budget, the June 9 budget being crucial under the current bailout package.

Pakistan may have only one remaining board review before the budget, reforming the budget is a step towards a successful review. The representative of the IMF said that the exchange market in Pakistan should be given a chance to work freely, it is hoped that Pakistan will include the achievement of the IMF's goals in the budget.

He further said that Pakistan has to fill the financing gap of 6 billion dollars, Pakistan needs assurance of reliable funding for 6 billion dollars.

On the other hand, the senior leader of Muslim League (N) Muhammad Zubair has said that if the IMF program ends, we will have to go somewhere for help. Pakistan currently does not have enough capacity to pay its external debt, even if there is no IMF program, the budget will have to be balanced. The government is aware of the economic issues in view of talks with the IMF. Muhammad Zubair said that such measures should be taken so that the incoming caretaker government maintains relations with the IMF, if the IMF program does not happen, the government will look at Plan B. He said that Pakistan's economy is facing other problems like inflation and poverty. The poor and the middle class want inflation to end in the country. Pakistan's biggest challenge is inflation.
