A Mango Festival was organized by the Embassy of Pakistan in Mubarakiya Market
Kuwait City (Urdu Point Latest News. July 12, 2023) After the beginning of the mango season in Pakistan, the Mango Festival was held in Kuwait where Pakistani mangoes won the hearts of Kuwaitis. According to local media, the Pakistani embassy organized a mango festival in Al Mubarakiya market, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Pakistan's diplomatic relations in Kuwait, the embassy, Sheikha Atmal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, head of the volunteer work center in Kuwait, Pakistani ambassador to Kuwait Malik Muhammad Farooq. And inaugurated the celebration in the presence of Dr. Amira Al Hassan, Head of the Regional Office at the United Nations for the Gulf States.

In a statement given to Kuwait's official news agency 'KUNA', Ambassador Farooq expressed his happiness over the organization of the Mango Festival due to its importance for Pakistan and its people. Expressing his gratitude, the Pakistani Ambassador emphasized that the relations between the two countries are extraordinary, historic and spanning more than 60 years and today's fair is part of Pakistan's cultural heritage.

It has been reported that on the occasion of the Mango Festival celebration, traditional Pakistani music was also organized in addition to the display of the Kuwaiti official dress. Dr. Amira Al Hassan, expressing her views on the occasion, said that I am benefiting from this celebration.
