ISLAMABAD (Urdu Point News Latest - APP. June 28, 2023) President of International Islamic University Dr. Hazal Hamud Al-Otaibi presided over an online meeting on Wednesday (Eid day in Saudi Arabia). Dr. Hazal congratulated the university community on Eid. congratulated and gave instructions on many important issues. Vice President Women Campus, Provost Men and Women, Students Advisors, Students, Chief Security Officer, In-Charge Administration, Assistant Director Protocol, In-Charge Horticulture, In-Charge State Management, In-Charge Admission and other relevant officials participated in the meeting.

President Jamia said that the most important point is the wonderful arrangements for the Eid celebrations of the foreign students living in the campus and the students from remote areas on the day of Eid.

He directed the Provost to offer Eid prayers with the students in the hostel. He directed both the Provost and the Students' Advisor to take care of the special Eid arrangements for the international students.


President Jamia directed that the students of the hostel should be served free food with special dishes on the occasion of Eid. He directed the student advisors of the students to organize special activities on the day of Eid and desired that similar activities should be organized by the student advisors of the female students in the female campus as well. He said that the university management should be ready to serve the university at all times, there is no allocation of a holiday or a normal day to fulfill this duty because the university administration has the responsibility of more than 30 thousand students, including There are also international students from over 30 countries.

Talking about the arrangements for Eid prayers in Faisal Mosque, he directed that senior officers of various important offices should be contacted through the protocol and public relations department to ensure protocol and security arrangements. He expressed the desire that the local administration, traffic police and Islamabad Capital Territory Police should be contacted for the arrangements for Eid prayers so that the citizens do not face any problem.

Discussing the issues related to the campus, Dr. Hazal said that during the heat wave, the horticulture department should be alert by communicating with the security personnel to avoid incidents like fire. President Jamia issued instructions to the State Management Office to ensure cleanliness in the campus, especially in the hostels. Talking about the vision of the administration to make the university a cradle of knowledge and a global center of advanced research, he said that Convenience of students according to modern requirements is the top priority.

Dr Hazal was briefed about the facility center in the new academic block. He directed that after the Eid holidays, his remaining work should be accelerated at double speed. Dr. Hazal also said that he would personally chair the follow-up meeting at the facility. In the meeting, Vice President Women's Campus Professor Dr. Samina Malik congratulated Dr. Hazal Hamood Al-Otaibi and the Saudi brothers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

He particularly appreciated and praised the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Muhammad bin Salman, for making the best arrangements for the Hajj. He further said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is fortunate to have such a sincere leadership. He said that Pakistanis and Saudis are like one nation living in two countries. In the end, Jamia President once again congratulated the university community on Eid and prayed for the prosperity and development of the university.
