The court did not direct Shah Mehmood Qureshi to submit any shorty bond. It should be remembered that the Lahore High Court has asked for the details of the cases filed against Shah Mehmood Qureshi. Yesterday, a hearing was held in the court on the plea not to arrest Tehreek-e-Insaf Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Justice Ali Baqir Najafi heard the plea of Shah Mahmood Qureshi's daughter.

The court sought the details of the cases registered against Shah Mehmood Qureshi from the Punjab government. An application was filed in the Lahore High Court not to arrest Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the cases registered after May 9. Chief Secretary and IG Punjab were made parties in the application. It was stated in the application that Shah Mehmood Qureshi is the former foreign minister and the leader of a political party. It is feared that the police will arrest him in a secret case filed after May 9.
